If you're not about dance

If you're not about dance music or light-hearted lyrics, you probably won't like this. If you take yourself or this scene too seriously, you definitely won't like it.Concerning the music: Martins makes good use of samples to make catchy dance tracks. I really like what he did with Kanye West's "Power" and he did a great job re-imagining Depeche Mode's "Just Can't Get Enough." There was nothing astounding about the lyrics, but they fit the music and help to keep song moving. Overall, it's not bad but I didn't keep it on my computer and at this point I wouldn't spend any money supporting Theo Martins.Like I said, nothing really stood out. I don't mean to knock dude. Hopefully, he continues to develop his craft into something with real originality. That being said, I think Hip Hop (and music in general) wouldn't be in such a bad state if we, the fans, were less accepting of mediocrity and "meh, not bad".
