ya know what i HATE. i HATE when ppl just throw words around they heard others say, like "get ya weight up" I know get ya weight up not ya hate up....but i can't rap... but i know what good music sounds like. i know what good rap sounds like.. ive been listening to rap & only rap since kindergarten. And there is alot of ppl out here today talkin bout i listen to weezy, i listen to weezy, (most of them girls) but they dont listen to anything but weezy...to them i say they dont like rap, they like weezy!! too many ppl like weezy, he has become pop, now it is not cool to bump his shit! do u understand? Nigga's come all the way on this forum, click Lil Wayne's Mixtapes links and take time to type up how much they hate Lil Wayne and trying to lure his Audience away, the Dude is good, he's not all that great, but he has a good Delivery in his own way, I don't hear too many rappers that can rap in 6 different Flow styles like Lil wayne has displayed yet, the nigga is Literally HIGH AS FUCK when he's doing most of these Freestyle songs or the tracks that are basically never gonna be on the official Album, Why work hard on a song that aint gonna get you money in the first place? He's having fun on this shit and giving it to the DJ's to promo his up coming Album thats gonna have an entirely different Track list with his best work on it, He has yet to put out a Carter Album that has Garbage Lyrics on it. I like listening to the nigga get high and have fun on a tight ass track it's sometimes funny as hell. Some Kats will never come out of that "Why he can't be like other Rappers" mentality, Im glad Lil Wayne refuses to be like every other rapper out there, im tired of listening to Basic rap over some stupid repetitive beat, i like over the top beats with some decent Lyrics over it, if he can put in something with Some substance in it thats even better, every now and then Lil Wayne has something to say with substance, i don't expect him to tell me a story of his life all the time, i heard it for 29 years already from various artist, most life stories in rap songs don't really change, most artist have the same ol'e shit in the ghetto, getting shot up, doing drugs, selling drugs, gettin car's, etc. Lick me like a Lolli Pop and other stuff like that is uplifting, give me something i can bump to and have fun with sometimes, i don't need to hear about your money and how you gonna kill somebody all the fuckin time.
