The Essence Of Hip Hop

This mixtape takes it back for me...it helps me appreciate the evolution of this art. This was before all the glamor and glitz, big corporate involvement, mega dollars or the fake tough guy images or the I had to sell thirty bricks before I hit the rap game persona's. Those of us that take rap seriously (or wish to be taken as such) should really pay homage to this classic rap duo who also elevated the conscious level of there listeners. I would like to see some Grand Puba and Brand Nubian uploaded in the future??
