yeah

on the last one, there were nonbeef tracks, but he put them on saying "50 cent diss"...lost it

Hip Hop

Now this is just my opinion but....I think there is too much of this type of ish in hip-hop these days. Everybody talkin' bout everybody. When most of the time they aren't even talkin' about nobody in particular....they're just talkin' sh*t. Dipset is notorious for that bullsh*t. What happened to the storytellers and the real lyrical content with a message. This type of sh*t is why there are sooo many wack rappers in the game today. Freestlye battles and real street beefs are one thing but when you start makin' albums about talkin' sh*t to nobody in particular, that ain't hip-hop. I mean you got rookie artists comin' out of nowhere makin' millions off this crap while artists like Nas put out one album every two years packed wit' good lyrical content. That's why his last album was called, "Hip Hop Is Dead." People don't even know what's good music anymore. It's all f*cked up! "We used to be a ghetto secret/ can't make my mind up, if I want that, or the whole world to peep it/ now I carry on tradition/ f*ck a bum wack rapper makin' his career outta dissin'/ peace to the strugglin' artists and dead one's gone, we miss 'em/ I promise I carry on tradition" -NaS Support the real artists. B-More signin' out...1

I agree with you whole

I agree with you whole heartedly on everything you said dude, but the guy you have on that profile pic is notorious for creating drama in order to sell his music. 50 cent first album was great, it was damn near wonderful, every track you could listen to, but now he makes garbage. The guys is creating a career from the same material he used to destroy ja-rule's career. I don't like ja-rule either but i despise hypocrites. 50 cent created drama with rappers/ hip hop artist like jadakiss, fat joe, dipset, and even the game in order to promote his album. He had the whole world waiting to hear what he had to say about these guys. We wanted to hear this beef battle. But after the cd was out and his album sold, he left those guys alone. 50 cent is not an artist, but he is a marketing genius. His caree and wealth is not made off of talent, but marketing skills. This is what the industry is headed towards. Artist today are not concerned with lyrical content, they do whatever it takes to make a few million. We the people are adding to this type of nonsense. Beats are so catchy now that people are paying more attention to what the beat sounds like instead of what the artist says. Like Andre 3000 said, "if you don't move your feet then i don't eat." This is the mentality that music buyers have put into the heads of the music producers. So in conclusion, i believe that hip hop is not dead, lyricism is dead. we are in the age of snap music and two stepping. if you are not making the people dance than your music is weak. Good music is out there and a lot of more rapper/hip hop artist have potential, but they have to eat too, so if it requires making bullshit music that keeps the ground moving instead of some tight lines and cliches to make you think they they will do what they have to do. beliieve me i would and i bet if you were in the same situation you would too. Nigga's gotta eat!!! O.C.B

It's definitely a shame...

It's definitely a shame... especially when good rappers have to dumb-down their flow to sell records. Just look at eminem.. one of the greatest of all-time, yet all of his hits are nothing but preschool nursery rhymes. There is still plenty of great talent out there, it's just too bad that they don't get the credit and sales they deserve because a majority of the population are too slow to understand. It's not just hip-hop either, it's music in general. These days it's all about having a catchy hook, not putting out music with an actual story/message behind it. Unfortunately I don't see this type of music going away anytime soon...
