ricky, heres whats working

ricky, heres whats working based on your style(flow) What Works! business man corporate thuggin cocaine These aint working trilla(to excited) shot to the heart(sounds like your reading) bottom line is stay away from the straight excited happy style, sound like you really mean what your saying, and stick with the boss style with dashes of excitement strategically placed.

Haters

Who do you think you are? You make me laugh. If you didn't like the mixtape, why didn't you just say so. "We the n*ggaz that you idolize/ we ain't gotta lie, we see it all in ya eyes/ a young n*gga want a Beema too/ a b*tch, wit' a big crib he can bring her to/ Let me tell ya why I got cake/ hundred thou from my label then I got weight/ I make f*ck n*ggaz pay/ so I'm gettin' paid for ayythang that I say/ Bullet in his head, walkin' round like a joke/ lookin' like a bag a weed and it's time to smoke" -Rick Ross "I got a million different hoes, and they told me how you roll/ These n*ggaz'll never know, is he really movin' blow?/ N*gga blackball me/ How the f*ck you gonna blackball me?" -Rick Ross Support the real artists. Port of Miami Did Drop

i got it about two weeks ago from one of my friends

CC

how bout you comment on what i said instead of resorting to a juvenile hater comment that doesnt fit. What do you think works better for RR, keeping the excited tone through the whole song(ex.trilla), or acting like a slick talking boss(ex. business man)? The problem is im talking bout stuff you've never had the capability of thinking about, because you don't understand the business aspect of making a song, and you dont realize what makes you like a song you just know if you like it or not. So the first thing that comes to your mind is hater, cause your a groupie, but thats ok, we need the groupies, cause if everyone understood, it wouldn't work.

Yeah, aiight

You know me.....No, the problem is you were actin' like you were talkin' to him, and like you smarter than him. I'm pretty sure he knows what he doin'. He don't need no industry groupie puttin' his 2 cents in. If you haven't noticed, a lot of these FLA artists sound excited. Must be somethin' in the water. I'm guessin' you live somewhere up north? "You've been hiding, never letting it show/ Always trying, to keep it under control/ You got it down, and well on your way to the top/ but there's something that you forgot" -Heart "Fortune and fame are pleasures you couldn't fathom/ but fortunately for me, my fortune built me a palace/ Benjamins by the ballad/ I'm spendin' 'em out in Bali/ I know I'm under surveillance, I look at it as a talent/ millions I gotta manage, lil' talents up in the rappin'/ I'm such a threat to these n*ggas, you never know what could happen/ I started without a coin/ not knowin' which way I'm going/ Now I'm chartering Boeings and reading a few poems/ weathered all the storms, now it's time to see the light/ and I never felt this way about anything in my life/ determined to be the best/ not lookin' back at regrets/ how many people you bless is how you measure success" -Rick Ross Support the real artists. gettin it

You still not getting it, excitement is ok, but the key is altering your mood/ excitement throughout the song and taking your flow to the next level evolving with the beat(ex. business man). I know he felt that with trilla the "excited" style fit the lyrics and the cool and dre beat, but he didnt take the time to figure out how he could flip it up to make it more interesting. The end result is a delivery that feels rushed, monotone, and not really real, and trust me the streets down here feel the same way about "trilla", but we always gone ride for our home team. and by the way I was talking to him, and trust me he would greatly appreciate the criticism, most rappers are starving for real advice, cause the majority of their associates are brown nosing or just to rapped up in it to be real. i was born and raised and to this day still livin on the county line. be original right your own lyrics. "im from broward bitch, im on that county line, we be in dade all day bangin slangin dimes. Im in yo hood bitch, you cant do nothin bout it, VLAD make a good point, na i highly doubt it." JayB

Ball of Corn

Let me stop, I can see I'm gettin' under your skin. I AM NOT A RAPPER, but it's plain to see that you REALLY wish you were.......talk about groupies. You're the one thats not gettin' it. Keep all that superior industry knowledge sh*t to yourself homeboi. Nobody wanna hear that sh*t. I really doubt Rick Ross would be on this site reading your lame a** comments anyways. Oh, and I'm originally from capital city, so Dade's far from my hood smart guy.....So let me get this straight, you the spokesperson for the streets of Dade, an idustry mastermind, and a rapper? "The realest sh*t I ever wrote/ not PAC inspired, it's crack POT inspired/ my real n*ggaz qoute/ B*tch never cook my coke, Why?/ Never trust a ho wit'cha child/ At you make believe rappers I smile, HA!/ Canal Streetin' my style, like you internet sharin' my files/ you mySpace n*ggaz!/ So kill the comparison/ I'm South Beach sippin' on Sera Fin'/ royalty check n*gga I neva been/ cook money clean through Maryland/ Sh*t, countin' just gasp at the smell of it/ MEET THE DEALA/ ain't a b*tch reala/ so you ain't gotta question why Pusha don't feel ya/ now get the f*ck off" -Pusha T Support the real artists.
