Lived in FL for 7 years by way of New Orleans and i love this place, love the girls, love the atmosphere, love the fact that i can ride 20 mins to a beach or a theme park and make a vacation out of it with so much to do here.. BUT WHAT THE FUCK MAN!! Why the music scene is such shit? They can't still be living in Luke era.. I live in Tampa bay and they are stuck on stupid out here with all this Jookin, city boy (2k version of the chicken dance), and get low.. There's some Talent out here, there's some REAL Talent, i make beats, and nigga's come over and spit over some tracks i made and they sound so good they could easily be up there with the Lil Wayne, B.G, 50 cent, type pop culture rap styles, but they aint getting a chance because people aint supporting the real rappers out here, they all want that Luke Miami Style booty shake or Jookin that was played out in 95, and traditional Bass breaks with wild snares, it all sound the same.. Miami hasn't produced much since Trick laid down the Mic to Make more kids and smoke up his money, Flo-Rida aint gonna make it another year, Acehood is irritating after a few tracks but his production is off the fuckin chain which might give him another 2 or 3 Albums off the fame of his recent one in Sept, and Tallahassee's T-Pain is working on his last leg until people get sick and tired of that Vo-Corder shit and demand something different if not an actual "REAL SINGING TALENT", Then again Brandy and Britney spears had been having their voices studio tweaked for years so who knows.. Anyway, Please dont' listen to this and think this is all Florida can do,there's more hidden Talent out here, there's no major push for them though, barely any Studios (except for the in-house amateurs like me), and the few in St Pete, Orlando and Miami. I think if the south can Maintain the Music Entertainment spotlight for another 5 years this Raw Talent could be untapped. Lets hope Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia and Even Mississippi can keep holding things down for now, Lets just say Florida is still in Planning stages and if these Nikka's i've been hearing in the clubs and in studios come out with a few Albums/Mixtapes etc It's gonna Put FL on the International Music Map again. == edit == Watch out for Lil Wardi he might be the only kat off this Mixtape that actually has some Talent.. Can't say the same about the rest.. But Lil Wardi is definately the problem in the making, just need to get him in a real studio.
