Both are good but i wouldn't hold this contest with these two rappers for the best Rapper alive.. they both have their own style, both have a way of killing a certain track and both have been on tracks thats seem like it should have been custom made for them.. Wayne has tricky, and comedic metaphor's but he's a lil redundant, but thats the way he's been flowing for a min and it's a working formula so aint nothing to change, he's a master at his craft..

Royce is a great lyricist, he can spit on just about anything but putting him up against Wayne is like putting Dr Dre up with Jay Z, both are lyrical Goliaths but only one has Lyrics that stand out and sting harder than the other, Royce pretty much just flows, But what has he done lately? His name seemed to have been picked out of no where with this DJ, why pick Royce? it seems almost Irrelevant to pit him in any contest with anybody nowadays.. unless he has some up and coming work no one knows about

i agree cuz when wayne did pray to the lord that has to be my favorite wayne song of all time. just by the way he kept it goin. he had some quick lines in it but he kept it to a topic and made it a real song and not just one liners packed together. unlike half of the people who replied i believe u actually listened to the tape and can tell the differences in their styles. wayne does have that hook, production, and lines that get your attention but when u say his lines make him sound like he can outshine the best. its one thing to sound like u can outshine the best and actually outshinin the best. if u wanna talk diversity i'll take B.o.B over wayne any day of the week. and b.o.b can do it better than wayne imo talkin production, singin, crossing genres, subject matter in raps. wayne is the better rapper than b.o.b but b.o.b is the much better overall musician. but i digress. royce vs wayne is a choice of really wat entertains u? wayne is a great artist. wayne demolished royce on some of those tracks but like u said if u want a catchy hook, hot beats, and random punches wayne is for u. if u want a complete song that flows, more connected punches, and more chill production than u go wit royce.
