Wayne has some good raps and a lot of stupid raps but he still puts out more songs than most and he can freestyle to anything. With that being said, I think this tape is a different breed from the empire. Not alot of crunk beats but more classic beats with actual samples. There a lot of songs that have already been put out and not to much "classic shit" material. Check this out if you're a fan but if you're not then get the carter 2 and 3 and become one. 7.5/10

Just get Drought is Over 2: http://www.mixtapetorrent.com/drought-is-over-2 That's the one that had all the exclusives. It's also the one that Wayne's mad about. It's got like fourteen songs on it that were originally slated for Carter 3 before he leaked 'em. None of the other "Drought is Over" tapes had any exclusives on 'em, so a "best of" is a waste, just get #2 if you don't already have it. obviously old, as its classics, this is a pretty weak mixtape. i'm not a wayne hater, i appreciate him for his lyricism and his work ethic, because even the worst haters have to agree with the biggest dick riders that he is in fact changing the game. i just personally think this "classics" album could've used some different material.
