problem putting on cd?

does anyone know any good cd program to use to burn the cds, i find whenever i put them on disk after download the music tends to have a 2 second pause between tracks or it might stop start then just fall into the next track the 2 programs that i use mostly are nero or replayer to burn with hopefully theres something better i dont mind listening to it at home on computer but when im in my vehicle thats a different story
