I've got some Old Mia X before she was with the Tank i should upload and put up on here, I think Master P Did masterful Job Marketing all of his Rappers including himself and all his products but i belief Mia X had to be a damn good Rapper before she even was mentioned to Master P, i mean it's hard already for females to get in with nothing but a Mans game so she had to be the best of the best and had to hold her own with the rest of the Nigga's in the game feel me?... All i know is she lives between Miami and New Orleans now and have been in the studio a lot, i have no idea what label she's recording under, you'd think Master P would want his Due's, but he's apparently found god as well and has turned good and wants No Limit to be a more Gentle Label and shit.

I thought Mia X was with no limit before Mystikal was, she was on the song "Bout It" remix on the I got the hookup soundtrack if I remember correctly, then it seems like Mystikal didnt join till later, unless he already had a contract that he had to fullfill before he could sign with Nolimit. i was raised in the south and i see where u comin from on this but some of the more nationally known southern acts arent the best the south has to offer. the south now is bankin off the club scene. the beats go hard and its perfect for radio and clubs so thats wat is bein played. not all of it is the best out though. i been sayin bun b is top 3 in the south. killer mike aka mike nigga is arguably the realest nigga spittin in any region. 3000 is arguably the best rapper alive. then u got a lot of underground artist or slept on artist with talent like stat quo, j cole, bobby creekwater, b.o.b, hollyweerd, donnis, field mob, tom hardy, etc. but u still cant deny that other regions are tryin to get some shine back. the west is comin real strong wit nippsy hussle, fashawn, blu, uni, pac div, sedrew prince, casey veggies, tyga, horseshoe gang etc. they all got bars for days. mid west has xv, wiz khalifa, asher roth and kid cudi (hate them or love them the have some talent) kid vishis etc. and the east has the fore runner to me wit joell ortiz, harlems cash is nice, skyzoo, blitz, wale etc. u cna have love for the south but good music isnt just in this region

you should care since the roots of hip hop can be traced to the south not the north... when slaves would congregate around a fire and basically freestyle about there day over a African drum beat, i believe it was a convergence of the island tradition of free-styling and the beats from African songs... the tradition kind of morphed from there to jazz scatting, to the doo-wop sounds, then r&b finally back again to its roots raping over a drum beat in the late 70s... but it all started in the South and the Caribbean before that... so if you knew your history you could set these bitches straight... and please no one correct me on the exactness of all of this, my brother is a jazz musician and it's all from my memory of his ranting telling me why rap has all been done before, and i probably didn't listen very well.
