Jay's from the 3rd, he also had a kid with Erykah Badu Last year or the year before. he talks about his roots alot, he traveled and lived all over the place for a min mostly New York and Detroit before eventually going back to N.O, i talked to him at Chocolate lounge during an African Heritage Poet Summit and he's deeeeepp, tries to make everything make sense, even about conspiracy theories and shit, luckily he a good rapper/lyricist otherwise i'd think he's a lil loony and need to be locked away for a while, but he's a good dude, loves his roots/city/culture and Blackness.

I started listening to him a year after that and didn't like it at first, then he got better over time and just kinda like a fan at that point, he got a lot of dudes in the NO startin to actually rap with "SUBSTANCE" now.. that should spark up some good shit outta New Orleans soon, i like how he's challenging the entire south to out do him lyrically now, him and Andre3000 should get together or somethin.
