How To Upload Mixtapes

This is a step by step guide with screenshots to show you how easy it is to create your own torrents to share with the masses.

YOU MUST FIRST HAVE APPLIED TO BE AN UPLOADER @ MixFiend.com

If you haven't already, download Azureus

1. Open Azureus

2. Click 'File', then 'New Torrent'

3a. Now you'll want to choose an 'External Tracker'

3b. Depending on if the mixtape is a single file or a folder (directory), choose accordingly

3c. Click 'Next'

4a. Now select your file or directory

4b. Click 'Next'

5. Leave everything as is and click 'Finish' - Azureus will now create your torrent file

6. Now that your torrent is ready, goto www.MixFiend.com and click 'Upload Torrent'

7a. Browse to your torrent file and select it

7b. If your content includes an .nfo file, select it

7c. Now enter a torrent name, description and choose the category that best fits your torrent

7d. After you finish filling out all of the info, click 'Upload Torrent'

8. A confirmation screen will appear letting you know your torrent has been successfully uploaded. Now you'll want to download a copy of the torrent you just uploaded, this will begin the seeding. REMEMBER TO SEED FOR ATLEAST 24 HOURS

9. Congrats! Pretty simple huh? If you want the torrent to get downloaded even faster, consider adding it to other torrent sites such as www.mininova.org & www.torrentreactor.net

10. EMAIL US or PM mfizzel to have your torrent added to the mixtape directory at www.MixtapeTorrent.com - this will increase the amount of peers downloading and everyone will get the torrent much quicker.
