Dninc, you do realize that the empire's drought is over mixtape series are not official lil wayne mixtapes. So wayne does not care if DIO7 ever drops. He dont fucks with DJs no more ever since the DIO2 had leaks from carter 3. He said “Fuck you if you a mixtape DJ,” Drama got offended but Wayne and him talked it over. He still put out D3 with Drama but he got so much hype from the No Ceilings mixtape which had no DJ which shows he don't need a DJ. All that was a publicity stunt, no different than the Nas/Jay Z, 50/game Shit
Wayne Benefited from that and so did DJ Drama, Carter 3 went Platinum in a Week from all the Free Hype built up from that beef circulating around the tape and Drama Benefited by becoming a world renowned DJ with some of the most sought after Mixtapes, thats why Wayne appears on all of his tapes still to this day and thats why he make an effort to put Wayne in all his album art, they homeboys and laughin it up.
When that all started up i already saw passed the smoke screen they was throwing up, Carter was about to be released, then fake and Official leaks started popping up on DJ Drama tapes exclusively lol..
You best believe Wayne has a tight grip on all his shit that come outta the studio, aint shit leaking unless "HE" Leaks it himself.. Drama or no other DJ aint goin into studios Track Jackin or hiring insiders to steal, them traxs are being given to them to promote the artist.
I worked in the industry for a lil min so i know a lil about what goes on..
