I went to one of his concerts didn't have the same experience you had, good thing, i was New Orleans then, nigga's woulda shot the place up if they pulled that shit out there, they don't play that "wait scam" shit out there.. Talib was on point as usual..

I went when they moved the freakNic to N.O a long while ago, i think that was in 95 or 96 lol, when i heard that Atlanta canceled the freaknic and it was coming to New Orleans i went to it, i had fun up until night fall, then every nigga was drunk or high and all you seen was fights poppin off, the Bounce House Parties was off the chain thou, beaux coup DJ's got together and made the best of it and had parties left and right going all the way into the wee hours around 4:30 am...
even though i had fun, i hope that shit never return to New Orleans, it was too many events going on for that to be happening too, a whole lotta Nigga'z and bitches out for freaknic and White folks out for Jazz fest and French Quarter fest and conventions don't mix.

Haha, I remember sittin still on the interstate with all lanes not moving, niggas just kickin it on the god damn highway. Im glad they brought that shit back to Atl, Atl deserved to get fuckin Niggas raisen hell and actin crazy and fuckin some shit up. They piss alot of people off around here with all these laws restricting the club scene from thriving like it did in the past, these niggas got the bar closing at 2 am, drove all the god dam promoters out of town, Music Midtown is gone. Venues is fuckin wack. They did the same thing though, they got some Sweetwater 420 Festival goin on and a Dogwood Festival and Freaknic, The Braves and Hawks got home games. So i think its gonna be god damn funny as shit, im just gonna post up on decatur st. haha. When niggas find out where that party at, its gonna be god damn funny as fuck. They about run them white folks outta atl for those other festivals lmao!.. it might not be as big as the past one's because it aint get promoted all over the place like it use too, i remember you use to hear about freaknic months ahead of time all the way in Texas and La, that aint happen this time..
I hope they do it better than they use too out there, i read about them shuttin everything down the highways was tight bumper to bumper, people couldn't get to work, fights broke out, nigga's pissin any and everywhere, trash everywhere, restaurants packed with rude mothafucka's not layin no tips down and fuckin up all the parks, lots, every bathroom, and not having enough security to stop fights..
If nigga'z act right the city might not cancel it next time around tho.. they need to let them kids have they fun shit.. just add more police and they'll be aight, New Orleans had NOPD on horseback and blocked off all the right area's and it was a last min thing for it to come out there, and everybody had fun without all the troubles we heard in ATL.
