Dont get me wrong I love my reggae, But Why on every tape do they use the same riddim for 4-8 different tracks in a row, kinda retarded... I miss a reggae tape with full songs only, dont care if its gonna be 20 track instead of 40, still the same length.

they have 4-8 songs on a riddim because of a thing called dubplates an artist usually comes out the original riddim but after that other artist jump on the sane beat similar to what some hip hop artist do and you as a fan will probably like your favorite artist on a beat that someone else did first plus one main thing with the same riddim you have a seamless mix between songs it keeps the vybez moving onlike when you play a hip hop or r&B song that have different tempos and bpms
