DJs Whoo Kid & E-Rock w/ E-40 - Bay Bidness Part 2

| |

The first time that DJ Whoo Kid was ghostridin' out in the Bay
Area with DJ E-Rock, it was right before the Bay Area's Charlie Hustle
E-40 dropped his album My Ghetto Report Card. From the Bay to LA and
across the nation, the hyphy movement was catching on.

With the single "Tell Me When To Go" tearing up the Billboards in early
'06, the Bay Area was finally being recognized as a mainstream hip-hop
harbor. Or as Forty would put it, they were finally getting their propers.
Three months later, Whoo Kid joins E-40 and E-Rock (40's DJ) to put down
the sequel to the Bay Area's official mixtape.

This mixtape features Bay Area slumpers from E-40, Keak Da Sneak, Balance,
Too Short, Mistah F.A.B. (Dow Jones, Mistah F.A.B. & MixUnit mixtape
coming soon!), Turf Talk, The Federation & El Dorado Red, The Team, Big
Rich, Bailey & Keyshia Cole and more.

Chingo Bling & Pitbull, the 24-Hour Grind-er returns with multi-platinum
New Orleans icon B.G. as he displays his hard-working crew The Chopper City
Boys, whose debut is due out soon on KOCH Records.

Two Five - Who Is Two Five

Who Is Two Five? Good question. It would be easy for people to assume they know Two Five. The birth cousin of rap mogul 50 Cent, his name symbolized the once sibling-like relationship between the two growing up in Southside Jamaica, Queens. It would seem then that Two Five would be an easy emcee to put in a box. One would assume that with a family member seated so prominently in the hip-hop industry and a name given to him based upon his bond with that hip-hop boss, Two Five would have his hip-hop road paved in gold. In reality, it couldn't be further from the truth.

Once cousins so close that neighborhood locals often referred to them as brothers, the two grew up in the same house – their grandmother's. The woman credited with raising Curtis "Interscope" Jackson also raised a young Michael Francis aka. Two Five aka. Twenty-five Cent. With Two Five being a young teenager at the time 50 was coming up, the hip-hop superstar mentored his younger cousin along the way and helped mold him into an aspiring rapper.
