1st and foremost much respect n admiration to gucci man for making himself hot.... after that jezzy dis record and all i knew of him was the so icy record wich was hot but annoying at the same time..i thought dude was dead never to be seen again ... i was at a club last night (by the way i'm from n.j.) and all the gucci man videos/songs had the place jumping .. they were songs i've heard before that i liked too .. so imma stop sleeping n check his shit out.... with that said.... there are no rules for determining if an artist is good other than record sales and popular opinion...these so called standards people put in place like lyrical,beats,content,voice,location? and etc... are not the laws to what makes an artist relavent,hot and successful.. i think luck,determination,balls,being different,reinventing and more importantly having the ear or ability to come out with hot music ... at this point in rap the south without a doubt is on top.... i don't see music as a race or competition... don't care where it's from as long as i like it... i understand egos,pride, and the need to represent but most of the post here are straight vial and evil it's one thing to say that a tape is wack or that an artist sucks but damn... maybe it's the hater in ya..inability to see others make it... you don't like black people and your black... there's a weed drought.. weren't breast fed...in need of an excersist... just found out your junior ain't yours.. don't like your neighbors...don't like them dudes from around the block...from across town...from the other school...from those states... from that coast fuck it you don't like people your anti social... u need a girl...need a hug...need a job... need a life.. need anger management i could go on forever ... i like this website just wish ya would tone down the negative rhetoric..be good ...peace
