DJ Lust - Stack Bundles: My Life Is Like A Movie

| |

STACK GOES HOLLYWOOD! If life is like a movie for Far Rockaway, Queens' Stack Bundles, you should have known by the size of the kid's entourage. When it comes to rap affiliations, nobody rolls deeper than your boy Bundles. The Riot Sqaud and Desert Storm representer was recently introduced to the Dipset Byrdgang by 'The Capo'/Byrdgang Records owner Jim Jones, and that move marks the beginning of a beautiful thing.

Having birthed his rap career in the rugged NY mixtape circuit, Stack Bundles is a great fit to the Dipset Byrdgang, the hip-hop family that has formed somewhat of a mixtape dynasty. The charismatic and slick-witted mixtape MVP's introduction to the Dipset mixtape grind came recently with the mixtape M.O.B. (Members Of Byrdgang), a mixtape that made Stack's Dipset tenure official.

Wasting little time before he got his feet wet with his first Byrdgang solo mixtape, Stack Bundles joins New Jeru's finest, DJ Lust (whose first Byrdgang mixtape with Max B. you may remember...) to bang out the official Stack mixtape My Life Is Like A Movie co-starring Jim Jones, Max B., Mel Matrix, The Riot Squad and Ransom. With his new band of brothers joining his old mixtape family, this mixtape makes for one hell of an major motion mixtape.

DJ Envy - Newz: The Takeover #2

| |

They call the kid Young Newz, but dude's got the voice of a man twice his age and a realness that'll bring you back in the day. Only 22 years old but repping Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn for life, Newz – despite having an incredible mixtape following – might not be the most traveled name in hip-hop . At least, not yet.

Already gaining the backing of DJ Envy after Newz' manager, a classmate of Envy's in college, introduced his rapper to the All-Star Hot 97 DJ a few years ago. Since then, along with the help of the man they call The People's Choice, Newz and rapper Coke formed Blok Gang Music, their own independent distribution label. With the help of one of the mixtape game's #1 mixtape DJs, Newz soon found his joints in heavy rotation across the board. With some of the hottest DJs giving burn to his tracks and freestyles on their mixtapes – including DJ Clue?, Big Mike and Cutmaster C, and the hottest street DVDs – such as Come Up DVD, Cocaine City and SMACK – putting Newz in front of their spotlights, the kid has earned himself an intimidating street buzz.
