nah what they're trying to do is get some hype out about the mixtape, drama almost did the same thing wit d3. the dj puts out like 2-3 snippets for a couple days and releases a full song for one or two of the snippets, then they set a drop date and let people wait it out. i'm not gonna like it works but it gets me mad as fuck

It was an official mixtape, it jus wasnt authorized by weezy. Empire is one of the fack ass dj's that be stealin the songs and leakin em on his own shit. Thats why it takes wayne's shit so long to drop. Fake ass dj's leak tha shit early, then he's gotta go record new songs or pick a new one that he's already recorded to it. Thats why the carter 3 took so long. Don't get me wrong, I like when the shit leaks, it gives me some new fire to bump while I burn...but imagine how much better the carter 3 woulda been if "tha leak" never happened. Take the best songs from that, and the best songs from tha carter 3 and tell u don't have an instant classic.
