Lyrics for lyrics (it was Nas). However I offered a thought provoking point of view for you to look at. If you were busy running the biggest hip hop clothing line at the time (not sean john, not phat farm), and running a company, and making hit after hit to stack your dollars would you seriously invest that much time into a diss track. After Takeover , it took Nas several months to construct ether. It was the greatest diss track ever, no doubt , but the nigga had months to do it and nothin better to do in QB at the time. No sales, no tours, no companies (plural) to run. Just time and a bunch of ego strokin phonies named wiz and jungle.
Hova, was busy. I question his judgement for respond to ether only 24 hrs later. His ego got the better of him and he felt it necessary to comeback right away. If he had time and months to play with , given his lyrical prowess, he could have made a better track than super ugly. All I'm sayin to you fuckers is that Jigga did not take the beef as serious as he could have. Has anyone thought about this or you too lazy to fuckin think.
